Caswell County Bike Routes

Caswell County's sparse rural population makes it a wonderful place to bicycle with little traffic congestion and much scenic beauty. Caswell County has more 18th and 19th century dwellings and structures than any other county in the state. The homes range from the Grandeur of 19th century tobacco plantations to early settler log cabins and farm buildings that can be seen along all of the bicycle routes in the county.

The Caswell County Bike Route Brochure is available free at bike shops in Yanceyville, Chapel Hill, Durham, Burlington and Greensboro and REI across from South Point Mall and Dick's Sporting Goods at New Hope Commons in Durham. There are (eight) 8 routes, each approximately 20 miles in length, and connectors between the routes for longer rides. We've also made available a downloadable/printable version of the Narrative and Map.
