Scott Community Health Center
The Scott Community Health Center was established in 1919 by Dr. Floyd Scott. Dr Scott worked out of his home until the present building was built in 1949. Piedmont Health Services (www.piedmonthealth.org) now owns and operates the center and carries on this long tradition of providing primary care services to the community.

The mission of Piedmont Health Services is to improve the health and well being of the community by providing high quality, affordable, and comprehensive primary health care. Our vision is a healthy community in which all people have timely access to quality health care. We provide care for all regardless of ability to pay. We accept all forms of insurance, and our fees are on a sliding-scale basis, based on income. We welcome new patients.
Piedmont Health Services operates 10 community health center in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. We are proud that many members of our Board of Directors receive medical care from our center; they know first-hand the high quality services we deliver. All care deeply about our mission and the people we help to have healthier lives filled with hope and dignity.
Quality is found in every aspect of this organization. Our health care professionals are highly qualified and well trained. The quality of care we provide is also reflected in our accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations (JCAHO).
